The inspiration for Fitability came after many years of using assessment instruments for better
employee selection, management and communication. Brantley and the founders created Fitability
to be the tool they had needed as hiring managers, in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings.
Brantley’s initial contribution to Fitability was to spearhead the acquisition, development
and design of the intellectual property and user interface.
Brantley brings 20 years’ experience introducing and marketing new technologies to businesses,
having been an investor and a founding manager for two successful startup businesses. Along with
Regi Campbell, he was a founder of Interserv Services Corporation, a $50 million/year provider
of teleservices and marketing research. He served as vice president at the Elrick & Lavidge
division, where he directed marketing research and customer satisfaction studies for major
telecommunications companies, and created a national syndicated research product in alliance
with Deloitte Consulting. Prior to InterServ, Brantley was a co-founder of Async Corporation,
a national voice processing service, where he developed the company’s core product as vice
president of marketing. Async grew to sales of $30 million in five years, was on the Inc.
Magazine “List of Fastest Growing Companies” prior to being acquired by MCI.
Brantley’s alma mater is the University of North Carolina where he was a Morehead Scholar.
He is active in community leadership and usually has at least one musical instrument within
easy reach.
Randall H. Lucius, Ph.D., Co-Author of Fitability 5
Lucius graduated from The University of Georgia with a doctorate degree in Industrial and
